Thomas Suri is a native Floridian growing up in Miami, FL. Thomas attended Florida International University where he graduated in 2010 Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Political Science and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, America's most prestigious academic honor society. Before completing his undergraduate studies, Thomas was a professional golfer. In 2014, he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College Law with Honors. While in law school, he interned for the Honorable John O'Sullivan Magistrate Judge for United States District Court of the Southern District of Florida. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2014.

Prior to joining, the Law Office of Michael B. Brehne, P.A., Thomas as an associate attorney with one of the most prominent medical malpractice defense firms in Florida. During this time, Thomas litigated complex medical malpractice claims, which provided him with a wealth of knowledge regarding civil litigation, complex medical injuries, and medical expert discovery.

Before his medical malpractice experience, Thomas was Chief Assistant Public Defender for Fifth Judicial Circuit of Florida in Sumter County. During his time with the Public Defender's Office, he acted as trial counsel in several felony and misdemeanor cases‐ ranging from first degree murder and armed burglary to DUI and domestic violence cases.

His focus at the law firm is personal injury, insurance disputes, and criminal defense.
